Italy: Rome, Florence and Venice

Rome, Florence and Venice. 3 performances, 7 nights, from $3,490 per person.

Why this route

A compact tour built around three of Europe's most rewarding performance settings: a Roman basilica, a Renaissance church in Florence and a concert on the Venetian lagoon.

  1. Rome
  2. Florence
  3. Venice

In Rome, ensembles sing Mass or give a concert in a basilica, with guided days at the Forum and the Vatican Museums. Florence brings a performance in a Renaissance church and a Tuscan countryside day. The tour closes in Venice with a concert on the lagoon and time to explore the city on foot and by vaporetto.

Italy is the route we recommend for bands and orchestras: short internal transfers, instrument storage at every hotel, and audiences that fill a church for a visiting wind ensemble.

Performance opportunities

Where your ensemble performs

  • Basilica Mass participation, Rome

Sing the Mass in one of Rome's major basilicas, arranged through the basilica's music office.

  • Renaissance church concert, Florence

Evening concert in a Florentine church with a long tradition of visiting ensembles.

  • Lagoon concert, Venice

A concert in a Venetian church on the water, promoted locally and to the hotel district.

  • Piazza performance

Where local regulations allow, an informal open-air set in a town square, ideal for bands.

Venues named in your proposal are confirmed in writing with each venue's music office before your contract is signed. Performance times, audience promotion and piano or percussion hire are listed per venue.
